Whether you're hosting the Holidays at your house or having a cozy night in, we've found our top 5 perfectly spiked season drinks that are easy to make and tasty! A gift your tastebuds will love!

1.PEPPERMINT EGGNOG PUNCH

Host the holidays with a special twist, peppermint style!

The goods:
-1 quart peppermint ice cream
-1 quart dairy eggnog (or canned)
-1 cup rum (optional, but strongly suggested)
-1-2 10 ounce bottles (1-1/4 to 2-1/2 cups) ginger ale. chilled
-Additional peppermint ice cream
-Peppermint sticks

     

    Mix the goods:
    1. Start out by stirring the peppermint ice cream until softened in a
    large chilled bowl.
    2. Add in eggnog and rum. Stir it all up until all ingredients have blended
    well together.
    3. Pour the mixture into your cutest Holiday punch bowl and add
    your desired amount of ginger ale. Leave it to your taste buds to decide!
    4. For the final touches, add a few scoops of ice cream and peppermint
    sticks in your serving glasses. Your guests will be amazed!

      2. MEXICAN HOT COFFEE COCKTAIL

      The perfect drink for GNI with all your close girlfriends fighting over what

      holiday movie to watch.

      The goods:
      -6 cups of coffee prepared
      -2 tablespoons of superfine or regular granulated sugar
      -1/4 teaspoon ground Mexican or regular cinnamon
      -1/8 teaspoon ground ancho Chile pepper or cayenne pepper
      -Chocolate flavor syrup
      -3/4 cup (6 oz) coffee liqueur such as Kahlua
      -6 tablespoon 3 (oz) tequila, rum, or brandy
      -1 recipe coffee whipped cream
      -12 chocolate covered coffee beans
        Mix the goods:
        1. Pour your pre-made coffee into a 2 qt insulated bottle to keep it hot. 
        2. Prep the sugar mixture for the rim of your glass (worry about your sugar level next year) :
        3. Find a shallow dish that would fit the rim of your glasses/mugs and stir together the sugar, cinnamon and ground ancho pepper. 
        4. Wet the rims of your glasses/mugs with either some good ole Brandy snifters or water
        and dip the rims into the mixture for the perfect sugar coated rim. 
        5. Drizzle some chocolate syrup on the bottom/side of your glasses/mug. If you are
        using crystals to serve your guests, make them feel special by doing a choco syrup design
        on the bottom of their glass for an authentic look!
        6. Spike your drink with 2 tbsp liqueur and 1 tbsp tequila. Add a splash or two more if desired!
        7. Fill your cups 3-4 of the way with the pre-made coffee. 
        8. Top it off with Coffee Whipped Cream and coffee beans.

        3. HOLIDAY MULE

        You can't get enough of the mule! 

         

        The goods:
        -1/2 oz simple syrup
        -1/2 oz unsweetened cranberry juice
        -1 1/2 oz gin or vodka
        -2 oz chilled ginger beer
        -1 rosemary sprig
        -orange slice, for garnish
        -sugared cranberries, for garnish
          Mix the goods:
          1. Combine your simple syrup, cranberry juice, and gin together in your shaker.
          No shaker?-Stir with a spoon!
          2. Pour your mixture over ice to keep it chilled and top it off with ginger beer.
          3. Serve garnished with rosemary, orange wedge and sugared cranberries for
          added flavor!
            Pair the goods:

            Whether your out at the bars or at a home, this classic taster never
            does you wrong. Especially if you're rocking our 'Keep it Together'

            4. WHITE CHRISTMAS MOJITO 

            We felt the pain of a bartender on this one, but mmm was it worth it at the end!

            The goods:
            -6 cups of coffee prepared
            -2 tablespoons of superfine or regular granulated sugar
            -1/4 teaspoon ground Mexican or regular cinnamon
            -1/8 teaspoon ground ancho Chile pepper or cayenne pepper
            -Chocolate flavor syrup
            -3/4 cup (6 oz) coffee liqueur such as Kahlua
            -6 tablespoon 3 (oz) tequila, rum, or brandy
            -1 recipe coffee whipped cream
            -12 chocolate covered coffee beans
              Mix the goods:
              1. In a glass, muddle the lime juice, sugar and mint leaves until the leaves
              have broken down.
              2. Fill the glass half way with ice.
              3. In a blender, combine the white rum, coconut rum, and coconut milk and
              pulse until the consistency is nice and smooth.
              4. Pour over the ice and stir to combine.
              5. Top it off with sparkling water, mint and pomegranate.

                5. MULED WINE

                A true wino's special- the taste of the holiday spices in one glass.

                The need goods:
                -4 cups of the best apple cider you can find 
                -1 750 ml bottle of red wine
                -¼ cup light brown sugar 
                -6 cinnamon sticks 
                -1 orange, zested and juiced 
                -1 orange, peeled, half for mulling and half for garnish 
                -1 tbsp whole cloves
                  Mix the goods:
                  1. Get saucy with it quick- combine the cider, wine, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks,
                  zest, juice, clovers, and star anise in a sauce pan.
                  2. Bring to a gentle simmer over low heat for 30 mins and up to an hour.
                  Good things come to those who wait, right?  
                  3. Make sure the mixture doesn't boil. This can cause the spices to turn bitter.
                  4. Pour your spiced mixture into your favorite mug and finish it off with an orange
                  peel and a star anise.
